On December 18, 2024, students from the Hunting and Wildlife Program of the Forestry Department at Iğdır University Vocational School of Technical Sciences organized a meaningful event to bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life within the scope of the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management course.
Throughout the event, students set up various stalls within the school and sold different products. At each stall, students tried to reflect their creative ideas in their products and make sales. The sales were meticulously evaluated by the vocational school academics, considering criteria such as product quality and pricing strategies.
Another important aspect of the event was that the proceeds from the sales were turned into a social responsibility project. The collected funds will be donated to meet the school needs of students at a village school. This decision allowed students to reinforce their social sensitivity alongside their entrepreneurial activities.
Iğdır University Vocational School of Technical Sciences will continue to organize similar events to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of its students and increase their awareness of social responsibility.
