Food containers for birds were prepared and hung on trees at our Vocational School.

On December 16, 2024, a nature-friendly event was organized with the participation of students and academics from the Hunting and Wildlife Program at Iğdır University Vocational School of Technical Sciences.

As part of the event, honey-coated feeds prepared with nutritious wheat and corn seeds were hung on the trees around the vocational school building for the birds. This meaningful activity aims to make it easier for birds to find food during the winter months.

Additionally, to contribute to nature and raise awareness about recycling, plastic waste bottles were cut and turned into feeding containers. Seeds were placed inside the prepared containers and hung on the trees. This activity provided both a food source for the birds and an experience that enhanced environmental awareness among the students.

During the event, the importance of contributing to nature and wildlife was emphasized to the students, and awareness was raised about the positive effects of recycling on the environment. The Vocational School of Technical Sciences will continue to support nature-friendly projects with such activities.

Hunting and Wildlife Program students participated in the afforestation event organized with the slogan "Breath for the Future, Breath for Humanity" as part of the "November 11 National Afforestation Day".
